St Anthony’s Friary Church Bengaluru.
The family commission of Bengaluru Archdiocese, under the instruction of Arch Bishop requested that every parish of the diocese should have a family cell in the parish churches. Accordingly the family cell in our parish was started and it is in its 7th year of functioning at the initiate of the parish priest.

The family cell, under the guidance of the parish priest and still organizing several program for our parishioners as a part of its activities the programs such as

– Marriage Enrichment
– Effective Parenting for our couples are organized periodically
– Senior citizens need for all the elderly of our parish is also taken care of
– Most of all for the students of our church, program such as study skills ( methodology of study), life skill education as to how to prepare and face the examination, along with their parents: are organized during the academic year

The resource person’s experts in their respective field are invited to address the participants and share their expertise with them, more often in the form of interaction

The programs of the family cell are well appreciated by the couples, parents & above all the students have been the benefited the most. Apart from these activities, it offers counseling for couples students individuals and family on every Tuesday from 6:30 to 7:30 PM in room #4 of the church premises

The family cell is thankful to the parish priest for there continues encouragement and support for all the activities.
