St. Anthony's Friary Church
20th Ordinary Sunday of the year 18th August 2019

1. Thursday, 22nd August is the feast of the Queenship of Blessed Virgin Mary.

2. Saturday, 24th August is the feast of St. Bartholomew.

3. As part of the Sunday School, we invite the youth of our parish, aged 16 to 25 years to enroll themselves in the Youcat programme. Kindly collect the application forms from the catechism office.

4. There will be a Family Bible Quiz for the students and parents of Grade 5th to 10th on the 25th August 2019 from the "Acts of the Apostles". We encourage all of you to prepare well and participate.

5. The Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary is on Sunday, 8th September 2019. The festive mass in Konkani will be at 11.00 a.m.. The blessing of the new corn and offering of the flowers in front of the Church will be at 10.30 a.m.. The 9 day novena to Mother Mary in front of the grotto will be begin from 30th August soon after the evening mass. On Tuesday, the novena will be soon after the Konkani mass and on Sunday before the Konkani mass at 12 noon.

6. There will be a Franciscan Pilgrimage to the Holy Land conducted in the month of October from 28th to 06th November 2019. There are limited seats available, we request you to book your seats as early as possible. For further details contact the parish office.

7. Admissions to undergraduate programme in BA courses with Psychology and short term certificate courses are open at Indian Institute of Psychology & Research (IIPR). For further details kindly look up the notice board or visit the IIPR office during the working hours on weekdays.

8. Bangalore Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services has planned two days programme for young married catholic couples on 24th & 25th of August from 9.00 a.m. 5.00 p.m. at Infant Jesus Church. For further details kindly look up the notice board.

9. Flood Relief : As all of us are aware the flood situation in NORTH KARNATAKA is life threatening for many people. People have lost their homes and property. As immediate relief to people who stranded, we have planned to collect food grains, grocery, Sanitary items and new clothes, towels and buckets. There will also be a dumb box kept for a month for your generous contribution. The Living Clay members of our parish will be collecting the items we request you to kindly be generous to help these victims.

10. There is a three day trip to Vailankanni organized by Annai Travels in view of the feast of Our Mother Mary from 28th to 30th August. For further details kindly look up the notice board.
